Mack Air has been the local representative for Gulf Air for over 3 decades. Gulf Air currently operates daily flights from Sri Lanka to Bahrain utilizing a state-of-the-art Airbus 321NEO aircraft which has 16 flatbed Business Class seats and 150 Economy Class seats on board. The airline connects its passengers via its hub in Bahrain to key global destinations such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, Dubai, Rome, Milan, Athens, Male & many others. Mack Air provides sales & reservation support functions to all Gulf Air passengers traveling from Sri Lanka to the Gulf Air network.

Gulf Air, which began operations in 1950, is the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain and was one of the first commercial airlines established in the Middle East. The airline connects to cities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian sub-continent, and the Far East from its hub at Bahrain International Airport. It has also been the Official Carrier of the biennial Bahrain International Airshow since it began in 2010.

The terminal has premium-class check-in halls, check-in desks, passport control booths, E-gates, security lanes, a 9,000 sqm duty-free retail space with world-class retailers, premium lounges, food and beverage zones, 24 departure gates, and 7,000 new parking spaces in multi-story facilities. Gulf Air utilizes a range of aircraft, including Dreamliner 787-900 series, A321NEO, and A320NEO, to provide daily flights from Sri Lanka to Bahrain.
