Royal Brunei Airlines

Royal Brunei Airlines, which is the official flag carrier of Brunei, was founded on November 18th, 1974, as an independent organization entirely owned by the Brunei Darussalam government. Its inaugural flight took place on May 14th, 1975, departing from Bandar Seri Begawan and landing in Singapore. Since then, the company has grown tremendously, garnering numerous awards and recognitions and achieving a four-star rating as an airline in 2018.

From our main hub in Bandar Seri Begawan, we provide connections for Brunei Darussalam to the rest of the world, serving our nation for over 44 years. As a full-service carrier, we offer competitive fares throughout the year, which include complimentary meals, baggage, and in-flight entertainment.

Our priority is always safety, and we never compromise on it. We care about our people, our community, and our environment.

Royal Brunei Airlines is continually evolving to ensure that we are well-prepared for the future. The emergence of a growing middle-class population and increasing disposable income have opened up new opportunities for us and the tourism industry. Our route network has expanded from three routes to twenty as of December 2018, and we aim to grow it to twenty-five by the end of 2019.
